Learn and network at two upcoming communicator events
Attending conferences is a great way to sharpen your marketing and communications skills and network with other professionals in the field. The Twin Cities campus will host two exciting opportunities to connect this June.
The Human Spark: University of Minnesota Communicators Forum Annual Conference — Thursday, June 4, 2026
The Communicators Forum aims to promote excellence in communications and enhance cooperation among communications professionals working at the University through professional development and networking opportunities.
This year’s annual conference will take place at the St.Paul Student Center and highlight the intersection between exploring and embracing new technologies, especially AI, while ensuring that emotion, empathy, lived experience and cultural insight continue to drive our work as communicators.
Breakout session proposals are currently being accepted until Friday, March 20, 2026, at 4 p.m. CST. Presentation ideas should plan to be 30‑minute sessions with 15 minutes for Q&A from communicators of all backgrounds and perspectives.
A Communicators Forum membership is required to attend. Along with conference admission, membership benefits include admission to all monthly programs, access to a communications-focused Google Group and more.
Digital Collegium Minnesota Regional Conference — Wednesday, June 17, 2026
